Friday 7th July 2017 - Sky For The Month with Perry Vlahos

8pm Friday 7th July we have Perry Vlahos with us to give us his "Sky for the Month" tour!

Brrr, it's cold! But things are really hotting up above. The Milky Way is beaming overhead. Arcturus, Regulus, Spica and Antares are lighting up the sky. On the rise are Vega, Altair and Deneb. Jupiter and Saturn are at their best for this year. It's cold, but it's the time of year when the skies are at their most transparent. Come along this Friday night to find out how to best observe these magnificent beacons of the sky when Perry Vlahos delivers another informative and entertaining presentation in his "Sky for the Month" talk.

Members' Night is on every Friday night commencing at 8PM sharp (doors open 7:30PM). Guests are always welcome.

Please consider the neighbours and drive in and out quietly using low beam only, or better still, parking lights.

Please note: MBO will always be closed on days of Severe, Extreme and Code Red fire ratings, please see the CFA website for up-to-date information.
